Basic Policy on Privacy Protection

Initiatives for Personal Information Protection

We recognize and respect the importance of personal information entrusted to us. In the course of our business, we handle detailed personal information, and all directors and employees perform their duties with a high level of responsibility as stewards of personal information.
When processing personal information, we comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to personal information protection. We have established this Privacy Policy, together with our Compliance Program, Personal Information Management Rules, and internal regulations for personal information protection, and ensure that these policies are thoroughly understood and observed throughout the organization.
We also continuously review and improve our personal information protection framework in response to changes in the business and social environment, and remain committed to safeguarding our customers’ privacy.

Policy Statement

[ 1 ] Basic Policy
1. We recognize the importance of personal information protection and comply with internal regulations in accordance with JIS Q 15001 when handling personal information.
2. We implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage.
3. We comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and other relevant standards relating to the handling of personal information.
4. We continuously review and improve our personal information protection practices in response to changes in the social environment.

[ 2 ] Initiatives to Implement the Basic Policy
1. All employees engaged in business operations at CSC comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and other relevant standards concerning personal information.
2. We appoint a Personal Information Protection Manager responsible for implementing and overseeing our Compliance Program.
3. We appoint an Audit Officer and conduct audits accordingly.
4. We continuously improve our internal rules and operations based on audit findings.

[ 3 ] Handling of Personal Information
1. When collecting personal information, we clearly state the purpose of collection to our customers and appropriately limit the use of such information to that purpose.
2. We promptly respond to requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion of personal information.
3. We maintain internal policies and implement appropriate security measures to prevent the leakage, unauthorized alteration, or other improper handling of personal information.
